Comments:

Thanks for all the QSOs and the SCC for putting on the Contest.

Forty meter band conditions were okay with very little QRN at this QTH. Last
weekend, during the NAQP SSB Contest, there was a large amount of thunderstorm
QRN.

Still only have the one 40 meter antenna. Thus the single band entry.

Couple of times after doing a search and pounce on a spotted station, an
"Alt. Q" was done to return to the calling freq. However, ended up
once at 7001 KHz and another time at 7014 KHz. Only realized the misplacement
of the radio's frequency after calling CQ a few times and not getting any
answer. Eventually looked at the band map and/or the radio to see I was way
out of the RTTY segment. Will try to reproduce the situation with N1MM+. Yes,
I do know enough not to call CQ (RTTY) on 7001 KHz or 7014 KHz and expect an
answer. Fortunately, neither freq. was being used by CY9C:>)

I'll try and do better with where I call CQ in the next RTTY contest:>)

  73,
  Mike, K4GMH
