Comments:
That was fun but I had to work at it. After the initial 20m craziness, I tried
40m and found action. When I tried to work the first 40m station, my relay that
switches the keying and band decoder quit, so I had to hand send anything on 40m
for the first number of contacts until I found a workaround. It wasn't pretty,
but it got me some extra Qs.
Missed and didn't hear DE KY OK AK UT WY IA NE ND although I got excited a
couple of time when stations called who normally live in those states but
apparently not today. I only worked ON and BC up north and KP4 came booming in
on a second radio contact.
We've had so many thunderstorms the past several weeks, but today was perfect
and conditions were more quiet than I've heard in a long time. Thanks to
everyone for coming out to play!
