Comments:
Business has me in the Minneapolis area this week. Had a great time meeting with
the members of the MN Wireless Association at their annual meeting last night.
Several are CWOps and it was nice to put a face with a call. Their invitation
to join them was greatly appreciated.
Drove over across the River to WI for the 1900z session to add WI to my list of
states I have operated from. Hope to be able to add MN tonight to the list in
the 0300z session but it is looking bleak as I write this at 0130z (or should I
say very wet with lots of lightning lighting up the sky as I sit in the car in
the hotel parking lot). Radar says there should be a break at 0300z but I keep
getting flash flood warnings effective until 0430 so, probably not. Guess I am
going to have to make a run for the hotel entrance here soon!!
