Yet another afternoon of very casual operating....mostly just tuning the bands
and seeing who I could find among the CWT throngs. No pressure. Just plain
fun.

It was really fun when I reduced my power to 20 watts, just to see if anybody
could hear me. As I did my S and P routine, I found myself waiting in line for
the calling station to finally hear me. Shoot, Bill (KC4D) must have been on a
DXpedition or something rare...it took me almost 5 minutes to bust through the
lingering pileup. Bill, I guess the word got out that you recently won the
Publishers Clearing House Sweepstakes and have plenty of money burning your
pockets.
