My Virginia location has an S9+40 dB noise level from a power line issue. It's
not quite as bad above 80m, i.e., only S8 on 40m. So for this session I used
the Florida station, consisting of a vertical and K3 with a KPA500. There are
some S9+ birdies I guess from routers but that's much better than the current
situation in VA! Very different challenge using the vertical (and logging all
information manually with no band map clicking for S&P).
