Comments:
Tough one again this year but mainly because of 15 and 10 being very poor.
80 proved to be the big bread and butter band but even 80 was not always
reliable with the long skip both nights. The band went long quite early but
seemed to recover a bit later. Lots of west coast worked on 80 with great
signals. Never thought I would work over 700 stations on 80M.
Thanks to all for the contacts and the patience with getting the exchanges
copied correctly.
Always great to say hi to old friends and make new ones as well.
Station: Elecraft K3 and IC-781 for external receive. Used MFJ-989C tuner with
25 ft high 80M dipole tuned for all bands.
Will be looking for everyone in CQ WW CW this weekend. Hoping for some quiet
bands and some help from our Sun!
Phil K3UA
