Comments:

This was a Saturday night only operation. Fired up the rig at 0115, and being
fresh meat, prepared for a rate fest. And what a fest it was. Had starting
hours of 135, 174, 135 and 105. Best 10 minute rate was 210. Then decided it
was time to go DXing for mults. Partially swept the band before the urge to run
took over again.

Pretty good conditions compared to CQWWCW, but didn't operate at EU sunrise...
had to get some sleep for church in the morning. Around 0341 had DJ0MDR and
DG1CMZ call me with their signals peaking on the NW loop, not on the NE one
facing Europe. Interesting skew that lasted only minutes. KH6LC called in at
0347, which the map showed him well before his grayline.

Highlights were having VY1AAA call in, finding A31MM all alone and being
surprised by LA2XPA calling in at 0900. Lowlight was missing only Nebraska for
the sweep.

QRN to the SW made some copy difficult, but not too bad. Rapid QSB often caused
one missed letter.

DX worked: A3, CT, CX, DL, EA6, F, G, GM, GW, HC, HI, KH6, KL7, KP2, KP4, LA,
OK, PJ2, UR, VP5, XE and ZF.

All in all, not a bad score for 6 hours.

K3/100, Drake L7 @ 700w., Inverted L @ 46', K9AY loops, N1MM Classic

73, Tom N2CU
