Comments:
Friday: NA/Carribean excellent. Best condx I've ever experienced. DX not so
good.
Saturday: NA - Deep and fast QSB. Static crashes from storms in Louisiana.
Heavy local QRN.
DX - EU, KH6, KL7 much stronger than Friday. Worked most of the DX on
Saturday, despite strong local QRN.
Countries: CX, DL, EA, EA6, F, GM, HC, HI, OH, OK, PJ2, PJ4, VP5, XE, YV, ZF
(ZF9CW like a local at times).
Missed: NL, NT, ON (could not copy his call - OR6??)
Some sort of nasty electrical interference started up Saturday evening late;
S9+10 on CW. Not sure if someone is running a machine or a power line issue.
Sounds more like a motor. 80m 4-sq says noise is to the NW. No neighbors or
power lines for approx 1 mile in that direction. A dedicated rx antenna would
be helpful on 160m at times.
Rig: IC-765/TL-922A
Antenna: T-top vertical, 65' tall, 32 x 100' radials
Go MWA!
