TS590s and KPA500 to A3s at 40ft. One hour for the club!
Well, no repeat for me! No time for this contest this weekend. Only an hour to
spare between a hamfest presentation, Christmas parties, hanging outdoor
Christmas lights and family things.
I have one neighbor to the southeast transmitting squarewaves with his LED
Lightshow! Makes a mess of AM radio as well as the Ham Bands. Hence, turn the
beam to the southeast and hear a S-8 buzzsaw. This QRM wasn't there before,
and he just put up these lights on Friday, then the QRM started. I will have
to have a chat with him soon.
Such are the challenges of contest station operation in the middle of the
city!
