Comments:
Periods of good rate punctuated by periods of gruelling boredom. No JAs or other
AS but a CT called on Saturday and then 3 more EU on Sunday. This is surprising
because we usually can pick out one or two JAs on scatter when there is no EU
to be had. EA8 was my only AF. I think I CQ'd too much and tuned too little.
Especially during the slow periods.
Friday night was very noisy. I thought my line noise had returned, but it was
gone by Saturday morning so I think it might have been the conditions. I only
had 76 contacts on the first night. Missed MT and AK in the states. Missed VE4,
VE5 and VO2 plus the rare ones.
Only managed to work 12 XEs, way below normal. No XE3. I keep looking, but
sometimes the skip is just too long.
Saturday worked CT at 1527. Sunday worked CT at 1638 and CT at 1651.
