Comments:
Just fooling around a little Sunday morning and evening. (Band was dead when I
listened about 00Z Saturday night.) Mostly working the PVRC roster -- MD, VA,
and DC(!). Heard N2MM (NJ) answer a CQ, but no QSO for me. Brief opening to
Colombia and one of the ABC islands, but I was outgunned. Sunday evening about
2330Z we got a little opening to northern New England. Worked ME and a few MA
and NH; also FY5, on a contemporaneous brief opening. Heard a weak K1KI(CT),
but no QSO.
During the New England opening I heard a station send report "N6" --
aha! another DX with cut numbers. I line him up, and it's VE9AA, QSB. I get
puzzled: Canada is not DX in this contest; why is he sending serial numbers?
Oh! That was not a cut number, and New Brunswick is in the log. :>)
