Comments:

Kenwood TS-950SD,Heil BM-10 Headset,and home brewed 102 ft. long G5RV up 50
feet, running N-S at 6,053 feet elevation in Laramie County.Grid Square is
DN71. Worked a few ops, for less than 3 hours, all hunt and pounce. A very
limited effort. The solar indices were in less than stellar shape. NOTE to
"RUNNING" stations. If you don't say QRZ at the very END of your
calling string then, then don't be surprised when a dozen stations all jump in
with their call approximately 1/2 second after they hear QRZ. Of course you
won't hear them doing this, because you are still giving your call sign, (or
other portions of your calling string) before ending your transmission. QRZ
should ALWAYS be the LAST thing said by a phone station who is
"running" in a contest. Good luck to my VE friends.
