Comments:
Another slow start for me. I really have to have everything set up better before
the contest starts. You'd think I'd have learned by now after 40 years of doing
this.
Bands were weird today. 15 Meters didn't stay open long and I didn't bother
with 10 M after checking it twice and not seeing any signals. 40 Meters was a
noisy mess before dinner break, but much better when I got back around 1900
Pacific (0300Z).
I think if I want to be more competitive score-wise, I better get a workable
antenna for 160 M and fix my RX setup on 160 and 80 M. Some of the SO2R scores
were almost double mine and I don't think I could have increased my rate that
much.
