Comments:
An excellent way to spend a Saturday! Of course, I botched my off time - saving
too much time for the low bands and shorting the daylight bands which included
40. Put up a new dipole for 80 a couple weeks ago and it was just the ticket-
which was good as I found out too late that one of my wire verts had broken
(again).
Missed a lot of usual mults, should have been more aggressive trying to move
and/or do better on the 2nd radio. Conversely, there was a lot of mult
activity especially out of NA countries a welcome treat. Surprised at the
lack of west coast on 160. I try to use my tx ant for rx as much as possible
so to not miss callers, guess there's a tradeoff there.
Some great scores out there, congrats to those folks that really know what to
do when.
