Comments:
I only have 2 bands here, but a recent upgrade to the 6m station with more power
a better radio and better switching arrangement made band switching more
practical. In the last few days I completed interfacing the PC and radio and
had MSK144 available which made things a lot more fun. To some degree this was
a distraction and I probably missed some local grids, but got others I would
not have worked due to typical January propagation limitations.
Rig:
6M - K3S/P3, SPE 1.3K-FA SSPA(800w), 5 el at 75ft.;
2M - K3S/P3, DEMI Xvtr, W6PQL SSPA(1KW) 4x6 el at 82 ft. with DEMI preamp.
