Wow! Only a few hours, but from this end, some of the best conditions I've
seen Saturday night. Very little noise, most signals 579 to 599 plus. Worked
6 new states, 2 new DXCC (ZF and HK) so I am a happy camper. Other than NA DX,
no joy from Europe here.... and not one from CA or 7 land! I know the wire
sloper is a marginal antenna at best, so I have plans for a Beverage type
receive antenna to hear more/do better in the future. Got to "OJ"
many folks from the Florida Contest Group that I worked, and it was a fun time
while on the air.
