Comments:

Not much of an EU opening at EU Sunrise the first night. There was more action
on Saturday night. The problem was that technical problems kept me from
working much of that opening.

I sat down at the rig Saturday hoping to make a good run, but the rig was not
keying the amp. I looked at that a bit then called the pro (Paul). We
basically took the station apart one piece at a time to see where the problem
was. Swapped the radio and that seemed to fix it. I operated a little bit,
then there were other problems with the replacement rig. To make a long story
short, there were a few more swaps and finally back on the air. But missed
most of the good run time that evening. Oh well, sometimes that happens. It
is all part of contesting and changing strategy as you go.

After that my strategy became to work as much as I could to get to at least
1000 QSO's and get as many mults as I could at EU SR.

Having a rotten cold going did not help my stamina either. So there were
probably more breaks than normally and I did not stay up until our SR on
Sunday. At least I had JA and ZL from the night before.

Got WAS. NE was the holdout for a while. DC was another one missed.
States/Provinces missed: DC, LB, NS, NU, NWT, YT.

Mults worked:

JA, E5/s, KH6, ZL, C6, CM, FM, HI, KL, KP2, V3, XE, ZF, CX, HC, HK, OA, P4,
PJ2, PY, YV, 9A, CT, DL, EA6, EI, F, G, HA, LX, OK, OM, ON, PA, S5, SM, CN

It is always fun at "The Farm". Even though I did not feel well and
there were technical issues, it is still fun.

Thanks to Paul for the use of his station and the technical assist with the
issues.
