Comments:
Regrets for my not posting a better score for Team #1. Started up all fired up
for this one. But just minutes into the contest, the display on my 87A went
dark. I replaced a fuse and the screen lit up with a 'FAULT'display and some
error code. I didn't want to search for the 87A manual so I decided to soldier
on with the K3. When I went to 80 meters, I spent some time hooking up the
KPA500A and my QSO rate improved noticably. Next time I'll have a hot standby.
