Thanks for the Q's. The band was quiet at first and at 1306 some kind of noise
came on and an S6 noise level appeared. Also, I think I got too close to
someone and they sent "QSY QRD QRD", with no callsign of course, so I
am not sure if they were meaning QSD (and there were clicks, or not. Always
appreciate any honest reports. But maybe whoever the clandestine OO was just
wanted to know where I was bound for? QRD means "Where are you bound
for?".
I tried my hand at SO2R with a rudimentary setup, and it works pretty good.
Just need to take some lessons from AA3B to learn to operate it. Got my
harmonic from 40M attenuated a fairly well with some hand-me-down Chebyshev's
on 20M but need to work on my audio mixing quality.
