I dislocated my left shoulder on Thursday last week when I slipped on ice
walking to work, so I wasn't able to spend as much time in the chair as I
wanted. I was in considerable pain all weekend. I wanted to work this contest,
so I did as much as I could.
Antennas consist of:
HexBeam for 10, 15 and 20M. It's mounted very low on a rooftop tripod in the
backyard (12' or so in the air). Still, it works pretty well.
MonoGAP vertical for 40M
Offcenter-fed "Inverted-J" vertical with 4 raised radials for 80M and
160M.
My CW operating skills are still being refreshed after a 10-year or so hiatus,
so I do a lot of listening to ensure that the call and report are accurate.
