Comments:
It must have been a fun time to endure the noisy band and QSB Friday nite. Noise
was much better Saturday nite but the QSB still wreaked havoc. Both mornings
spent in a coma , slept past sunrise and band gone away.
Thanks to all who kept trying and made the log, even the few who were already
in my log , I understand ! Some how I missed MAINE, usually found easily ,but
not this time , I also missed some hard to find VE land. N1MM+ says 11 hours
but it seemed like many,many more!
I threw a couple hundred foot piece of wire out to the West to see if it would
bring in signals any better that direction. Voila! Ears to the west! It worked
quite well and was quitter than my K9AY loop. Too bad I hadn't done that before
Friday! It enabled me to work some west coast that I would not have heard with
previous antennas.
ICOM PRO3 thru 500w SS amp to a bazooka-fed coax INV L. K9AY loop NE and 200'
wire on the ground NW. N1MM+ did the logbook. Heil ICM for voice
