Comments:
This was a fun contest. II got started late and missed the best shot on 20
meters and maybe 15m. I have be convelesing since major surgery reciently. my
sole purpose dwas to enjoy the day and get my radio fix as I have not been
feeling like putting a long hard effort in contesting. the bands were great and
many surprise contacts from DX stations especially on 80 meters. I actually felt
very comfortable at the op position. all gear and antennas worked well. the guys
adjacient to my frequency were very good ops and I had no problems holding a
fredsquency. I only did runs and only used 3 frequencys the entire contest. I
never did any S/P as I never had a lack of callers thanks to all that worked
me. It was a great pleasure to participate. Gary WA5FWC
