I did not get back from taking my grandson to his National History Competition
in San Diego until well into the contest. As a result, 15m seemed to be
'waning' early and when I had had enough 'waning' I went to 20m only to find it
was still 'not my time.' I think that was mostly why I seemed always off-band in
the scheme of things. Everyone played high in the bands on 40m and that was my
best band but I was also surprised with being heard by so many east coast
mults.
No team because I did not know when or how long I was going to be on and that
seems to be the call of the team makers these days.
Two more chapters of Harlan Coben - should finish in the next RTTY or JT65
contest.
