Comments:
Excellent contest, so much activity from everywhere.
Bands were far from brilliant!
Opening hours yielded just 8 Q's on 20m!
Low bands were king for the first night. Seemed to just burst the piles with a
call or 2. So the antennas were definitely working.
>From when 20 was normally opening to EU on the first day, it was DEAD! very
late in opening to provide the usual big signals!
15 on the first day was only giving out small numbers of EU, but Caribbean and
SA were there in plenty numbers on both 15 and 10
Took a long break and returned after 0900z on the second day, so missed lots of
mults and Q's on the low bands im sure.
Was hoping for a better opening to EU on day 2 and boy was i happy to see the
sigs back to where they normally are!
Runs were excellent, they just kept coming for hours.
15 again didnt open to EU! only Carib and SA, with some pacific creeping in for
some valuable mults.
all in all a lot of fun! thanks to everyone who called and those who had to
endure getting the long winded call in the log correctly.
Thanks to Mike W4AAW for giving me full run of this excellent station at very
short notice! it is very much appreciated! Everything worked flawlessly.
Look out for us in the coming weeks in M/M operations in contests.
Thanks to everyone involved in such a great contest!
See you next time around.
