Comments:
The idea of operating in a single-op category came just before the contest.
Members of the team were found to be busy for this weekend, so they let me play
on the bands. Having a broken 40M antenna would have made the all-band operation
impossible, so I chose to make an effort on 20M. HG6N station is normally
equipped to M/S contesting, so I had to rearrange some of the equipment. Used
the good old interlock boxes, had some funny moments with 2 microphones. Still
managed to S&P properlí, using the inband antenna so one third of the Qs
were made on second radio, while running on the main. (K3)
As for the propagation, we had a nice opening even to west coast after sunset.
Russians were strong as always, only missed some far east. I should have got up
earlier before sunrise because the band was already full at 4z.
Rig: K3 and TS950SDX
Ant: 2x 5 ele, dipole inband
