Comments:

*** O Murphy, Murphy, why did you visit me? ***

Upon arrival at our club shack, I had finished my usual SO2R setup,
when I realized that my usual logging PC had an RFI problem. When
I transmitted at full power for some time, the notorious "blue
screen"
tended to appear and the PC was rebooted. I had to change to my
substitute PC and install N1MM+ and MK2R Router, which I could barely
finish a few minutes before the contest started. The new PC stopped
capturing TX freq. via CAT when I transmitted, and it became obvious
SO2R on CW was out of question.

I decided to dump my 50+ CW QSOs that were already made, and
changed to SSB only entry.

The propagation on 20/40mb was so-so, but our 75mb antenna was
broken. (I normally operate 80mb CW only for this contest, so
I did not fix it.) 15mb was poor, and 10mb was useless. I asked
1 JA to QSY to 10mb to give me a multiplier, and this one was
the only QSO made on my favorite band.

Thank you for all QSOs, especially to Russian friends who copied
my rusty Russian language.

Best 73/88,

de Icko, JA1BPA

had some issues when I transmitted full
