Comments:
Worked this contest off and on throughout the weekend. N1MM+ reports that I was
on for 31 hours but I know that I was not "on the air" for that long
as I spent quite a bit of time doing honey-do's around the house. Bands were in
terrible shape all weekend with deep QSB. EU was weak but workable all weekend
on both 20 & 40 meters. I tried to concentrate my efforts in working as
many EU's as possible for the mults. I did mostly S&P this time, as running
seemed to not be too productive and brought my Q rate way down. I thought at one
point though that I was going to have a good run on 40 meters when a VK answered
my first call and I worked him like he was right down the road. Then came the
QSB to hinder my running efforts once again. Worked fellow Swamp Foxers AJ5E,
K7OM, & N4IQ, TNX for the Q's guys, always a pleasure to work you! Many
thanks to Bill N4IQ for helping me get my RSP SDR working with N1MM+, man what
a difference it is to be able to see where all the stations are!! You have
totally spoiled me and don't know if I can ever go back now hihi!
