Comments:

Tried low power to see the difference signal strength make and to get an idea of
the impact of putting up better antennas will make.)
Started on 40 as normal.
Found signals encroached more - I could hear people closer. Slow going at the
beginning, could not attract attention. No 2-3 QSOs in the first minutes, but
weak S&P guys did call in. Almost never had the second guy waiting after I
finished a QSO. WJ9B was loud on 40!After 30 minutes the rate picked up and had
2, 3, 4 QSOs per minute. Band started to thin and it took 2-3 CQ to raise
anyone. At 1344Z the band was thin, but additional QSOs would be mults.
Went to 20. Rate was good, almost like with high power, but perhaps I was fresh
meat with only 15 minutes to be on the band. Got lots of 2-3 QSOs per minute
and picked up 14 mults.

Good experiment!
