Comments:
Very gratifying result. The long-wire played well on 40 and adequately on 80. 20
was a little odd early in the NAQP with normally very loud stations, like K5TR,
S5 at best. It did get better later. I think folks ignored 15 when it was
actually open quite well in the first hour or two...just not many people home.
I called CQ for a bit on 10 and snagged AB0S but Tim, and his solid S9 signal,
was the only station heard. Maybe we should make the band a part of the VHF
contest. :>)
