Comments:
CW practice has definitely helped to improve my CW. NS Sprint practices on
Thursdays definitely forced me to work faster than normal. Getting used to
calling CQ at 28 wpm. Lots more practice needed. Overall, it was a lot of fun.
I made some strategic errors in operating this contest. 10 meters was dead. So,
I moved to 15 a little bit early and did not stay on 20 long enough. Also, got
on 40 and 80 meters too early. Static noise and QRN was terrible even at the
ranch where it is normally quieter. So, missed out on better CW conditions on
80 meters later in the contest. Chalk it off to learning.
