Comments:

NCCC Team #2, Conditions disturbed, noisy, but workable. 15M at
the beginning was weak and full of QSB so I abandoned it
instantly. 20M was doing well with rolling QSB, 90 Minutes before
sunset I switched to 40M which banging away except for the QRN
from our local evening Thunderstorms. When the Boomers Started
flashing lightning at 0300Z I pulled the plug, Earthed all the
antennas, & dumped the log to Cabrillo Format. I Shut everything
down while waiting for the storm to pass us by, hoping to make
some more Qs before the end. Station here incl an aging IC-746,
100W out, 3ele 20M Mono-bander @ 43ft, 80M/40M Fan Dipole @ 40ft
(used also on 15M with a Home-brew Tuner as the extreme heat has
kept me from getting the 15M Mono-bander back in the air in time).
Was a fun romp till safety demanded a cease and desist to all
activities. KB!
