I'm still getting my feet wet on VHF, and I am still trying to decide if it's
worth it to me to put up bigger and better aluminium. Amazingly, I made in this
sprint almost as many Q's as in the June contest on 2m, and quite a few more
than in September. I did hear VE3ZV, and I think he heard me, but someone
decided to turn on their noise maker before we could complete the QSO. Best DX
was KO4YC at 263 miles or 423 km. It also seems that I'm constantly yelling at
at the sides and backs of beams. Of course it didn't help that the 275H is
still limping along on a single transistor in the PA. All in all this sprint
was a fun experience. Thanks for pulling my QRPp signal out of the noise, and a
special thanks to those who made the effort to twist their beams to work me.
