I was at the remote station location all week, doing station maintenance and
getting set up for the digital modes. I left the remote location Saturday
morning to head back to VE3.
This was my first RTTY contest (first RTTY QSOs actually) from VO2. I
obviously have a lot to learn. I called a LOT more stations than I was able to
work. I'd say at least 3 or 4 times as many.
I made QSOs from 3 different locaions: Friday night in VO2, Saturday afternoon
from the Halifax airport (VE1), and Saturday evening and Sunday from here in
VE3. After being away all week I didn't have much time to get on the air upon
my return.
