Comments:
Elecraft KX3 5W, end-fed 35' vertical dipole, N1MM Logger+
Portable operation from local beach parks - about 4 hours Friday night, 4 hours
Saturday morning/afternoon, and 2 hours Sunday afternoon. My antenna does not
work well on 40/80, so I stuck with mostly 20 meters (with some success on 15
and 10).
There weren't many strong signals on any band. I was able to work almost
everyone I could hear S5 or better. I heard many weak EU stations Saturday
morning, but managed only one contact there - with Italy.
RTTY is a tough mode for QRP operation out here, especially with a simple wire
antenna. Thanks to all who could pull me out of the noise.
