SOAPBOX: Well I went out and did a lot better than last year by a whole lot.
Doubled my amount of qso,s 6 times more in the score category . But I failed to
do is pick up more multipliers . 131 states , 59 countries and 41 zones. I feel
good that I did well . But I have a lot to learn on picking up the mults. So
next year will be all about picking up the mults first. I want to thank all the
people that I made contact with and all the dx stations. This was a fun contest
. Equipment here was my trusted FTDX 1200 , an at4k antenna tuner and Heathkit
SB1000 I only ran about 750 watts in to a Mosley ta33 at 30 ft and a Mosley 2
elem. 40 at 55 ft. for 80 just a simple dipole. Thanks and have fun 73
