Comments:
Last week missed CWT due to being ES1/OF5ZA without a rig.... Wild September
continues in geophysics. The last few days under 1045 mbar pressure VHF/UHF
signals propagate 1600 - 1900 km distances on 144/432 down to Southern Ukraine
from here (hoping for a jump over the Black Sea)... CWT got quiet on 14 MHz
after the first half hour. Signals are strong despite heavy Aurora up to 60 GW
Hemisphere power (that's quite opposite from the SAC CW torture 10 days ago)...
This time limited by low power and the 12 m sloper wire up 5 m max... Half a
dozen SM/LA heard via scatter... Working N4AF was a surprise... Cheers/73,
