Comments:
Propagation better than feared with the High Speed Stream trashing the bands
earlier in the week.
Thanks to the faithful that spend their weekends helping the effort. Jim KI7Y
for being here bell to bell as always, keeping us company in the slow night
hours, Mark W7ZB (who was responsible for opening 15m to JA for the last 2
hours of the contest!), Serge KN7K to masterfully worked 20m to EU on Saturday,
Hank KR7X and Andy KE7AUB, the 40m specialist to JA spend 2 nights without his
just reward)
Some excitement right before the contest with an antenna mystery, but did a
MacGyver workaround and then everything went smoothly for the entire weekend.
15m band really shone this weekend, upper bands much better than last year and
a much improved score for us, low bands a big disappointment ...
