Comments:
I usually QRP, but for maximum points for FRC decided to QRO instead. I also
prefer CW to Phone, but as I can't operate the CW contest this year I opted for
Phone (and my XYL was away, so I could play!). Friday evening seemed like I was
operating QRP, but conditions were still improving from the geomagnetic storm.
Anyway, lots of S&P with decent rates for doing that. Had some reasonable
runs as well once I found a frequency.
I think this is likely the highest score I've ever had. Of course, I don't
ever remember putting in as much time with a contest like this before, either!
BUTT IN CHAIR! It was a rush seeing my score go over 1M! I had a few
distractions and could have spent more time operating, so I know I could have
done better, though. Still, I have no complaints, it was fun.
