Better cndx than I expected, especially Sunday afternoon. 10M was a pleasant
surprise, much better than last year's 3 QSOs. The new hexbeam was a big help.
Looking forward to getting it a little higher (might be at 25 ft. now.)
The one thing I haven't solved here is the noise problem. I track noise in the
daytime, but at night, here it comes, usually 20db over 9. There's some tricks
I can use on the FT-1000MP to mitigate the problem somewhat, but even a low
noise receive antenna hasn't helped, so I usually end up just using the
vertical.
This is my highest score from this location so far.
