Notes of a modest station:
40M: Tough for a dipole, though I could hear the European big guns OK. Worked
Zones 30 and 31. Thanks.
20M: "Frequency is in use! Frequency in use!" Of course. All the
frequencies
on 20M were in use. No place for a modest station.
15M: More band space made this the most enjoyable and productive band.
10M: Had been open most afternoons the previous week, so there was no surprise
on both Saturday and Sunday. Open for many hours, mostly to Caribbean and
South America. North-eastern powerhouses seemed to do much better than
that.
