IT IS ALWAYS A PLEASURE TO AGAIN THANK BOTH ALAN WA3EKL AND SUSAN N3DPB OUR
GRACIOUS HOSTS HERE AT THIS STATION FOR THEIR ONGOING HOSPITALITY DURING THIS
CONTEST SEASON.
WOW WHAT GREAT CONDITIONS THERE WERE THIS WEEKEND ON 160M.
CONGRATULATIONS GO TO K3ZM AND ALSO TO THE CREW UP AT W2GD FOR IMPRESSIVE
OPERATIONS IN THIS EVENT THIS YEAR. THEY HAVE ESTABLISHED BASELINES THAT
OTHERS SHOULD USE FOR SETTING GOALS AND BASELINES THAT OTHER SINGLE AND MULTI
OPS STATIONS CAN HOPE TO ACHIEVE IN FUTURE TOP BAND OPERATIONS. WE WOULD ALSO
LIKE TO EXTEND THANKS TO K3ZM, NN3W AND N3QE FOR THEIR CONTINUED GREAT TOP BAND
OPERATIONS THAT WERE DISPLAYED THIS WEEKEND. PETER, RICH AND TIM HAVE ALWAYS
GOT SOME GOOD ADVICE TO OFFER TO OTHERS WHICH LEADS TO MORE OPERATOR
PARTICIPATION IN THE CONTESTS.
HERE AT THIS SITE WE WORKED 72 SECTIONS MISSING: ND, NNY, KP4, WTX, LAX, ORG,
SB, KH6, KL7, NV, AND VY1. WE DID PARTAKE IN THE CHASES OF WA7LNW, KL7SB, XO1X
BUT THOSE EFFORTS WERE TO NO AVAIL THIS WEEKEND.
FROM THE DX CORNER WE WORKED 27 COUNTRIES FROM EUROPE AND THE CARIBBEAN THIS
TIME AROUND. WE LOOK FORWARD TO HEARING ALL OF THEM AGAIN IN THE ONCOMING
COMPETITIONS. LET HOPE THAT THE LOCAL CONDITIONS FROM THE WEATHER DISASTERS
THIS LAST FALL IN KP4 WILL CONTINUE TO BE IMPROVING SO THAT THERE WILL BE AN
ABUNDANCE OF STATIONS FROM THERE OPERATING ON ALL OF THE BANDS AS WELL.
WITH THAT NOT IT IS ON TO TEN METERS AND HAVE A GREAT HOLIDAY SEASON.
SEE YOU ALL IN THE PILEUPS
