Well, that was an exercise in futility! My first contact on 40 got wiped out by
a Special Event station in IL, so that was a forboding of things to come. Few
stations heard on 40( that I could reasonably copy ) so went to 80. More
stations but they weren't hearing me, and apparently I have RF getting into the
computer on this band, as when I tried to send my number using MMTTY it would
not unkey. Shut radio off, restart software. Also CQ Repeat did not work(
newest version of N1MM+; maybe a bug? ). Nada heard on 160. 1.808 and up,
right? Nothing. Better luck next time. Grrr. 73, David
