Comments:
Fun contest for me. Finally got my SO2R antenna switch installed a couple days
before the 7" of snow hit the Raleigh area. My 15m and 20m results were
pretty pathetic. My wire loop antennas are just not cutting it on those bands.
Rates really picked up when I moved down to 40m and had 1 fantastic hour on 80m.
This is also the first contest I was able pick up a few Q's and mults on 160m.
I blew away my planned goal to average 40 Q's an hour thanks to the 80m runs.
My mult count on 40m should have been higher. Missed too many easy ones on 40m
and probably should have stayed there a bit longer. Overall I'm happy with the
end result.
