Comments:
With my antenna setup, I was able to work stations in the eastern US and Canada
easily, but working stations in the western US and Europe was a struggle. It
started raining late Saturday night and the rain somehow caused my SWR to go up,
so I decided to quit with 319 QSOs rather than look for the problem.
K3, AL-811H, 160M antenna is a huge coil with a 17 foot whip setting on top of
an all metal ladder with another huge coil as a counterpoise along with a bunch
of shorter radials.
