Sorry guys but the new ARRL log entry web form rejects my log since it claims
that KV4FZ is not in a DX entity. Sent off several emails to ARRL honchos but
so far no reply from anyone. (Oh yes I am an ARRL member) Many years ago I
promised Dick, KV4AA that we would both never change our call signs after the
FCC arbitrarily went to KP2 and NP2. So many new hams do not realize this
either and reuse to work you during the contest saying "DX only". I
also had to null out the EU callers with my NCC-1 device and my NW Beverage.
Somebody at HQ needs to get this straighten out. Hands one intervention by
knowledgeable amateurs always works better to beta test these thing. What if an
entry from KC4 (Gitmo) was rejected because of this same reason.
Rig IC-7300
TX Antenna 65 foot base loaded vertical wire with some radials.
RX Antenna 600 foot Reverse Beverage (DX-Engineering)
73,
Herb, KV4FZ
And still in the United States Virgin Islands after 50 years with the same call.
It was suggested to me to send KP2/KV4FZ. Why should I have to?
