Comments:
Not a good night on almost every aspect for me tonight. A weather front was
approaching, and it got here during the NS. I should have pulled the plug when a
loud thunder clap happened, and by that time I could not hear a lot of stations
calling, especially on 40 and 80. The evening started well with an S9 WD0T and
an S7 K9BGL on 15 meters, the only two stations heard. In fact, K9BGL was a very
rare five bagger for me tonight. The only highlight. In fact, the first time I
worked KZ5D, he was so far ahead of me that instead of "TU," I sent
"wow." Hmmm.
Five min segments: 6, 7, 9, 9, 7, and 6. Throw in some RFI between the two
stations, and it was just a bad night overall. The Lid-itis of the operator did
not help either. Sorry if I QRMed anyone. Lost most Jumpers as well. Did I say
it wasn't my night? hi hi.
Thanks, and good to hear K4BAI lolling about on Bonair for two bands and local
K8LS on. Thanks Larry.
73, Jim N3BB
