Comments:
I was surprised I got even this with my antenna which is a 80 meter ladder line
fed dipole only feet off of the roof and zig zags around to get the length.
Without the linear (800 watts) I would likely have gotten 0. I tried 20 minutes
of CQ with not one answer so everything was S&P. Radio is TS590SG which I
bought used from Radio City and am quite happy with. I got my TS870S repaired
and so have a backup now. I have done no contesting until lately for at least 20
years. I like CW better but about 30 WPM is my current limit. I fail to
understand why some send 45WPM. Seems they miss a lot of QSOs that way.
