Comments:
Antennas: All wires except for 40/80 Butternut vertical. Lost 2 high dipoles in
the storm and big tree came down and took out the 160 inverted L radials and my
log splitter. Scrambled Sunday to put up a 40M Delta loop which worked pretty
well. Used 160M Inv-L on 20M - (hey, might as well try something since the 20m
ground plane was taking out the GFI outlets in the house and XYL was very
unhappy). Old Dentron tuner matches nearly anything.
Rig: Icom IC-7300 using N1MM+ Logger. Really like this setup. Many thanks to the
programmers and sponsors.
Amp: Old Drake L-4B...Maybe pushing 1KW out. No Amp on 160M.
Gripes: Wish I had an auto-tune amp and tuner. Tower is still nicely stacked,
but on the ground...sure could have used it. Maybe this summer. High trees are
great for antennas except in a windy storm.
