Comments:
Conditions not too exciting, but managed to work old friend Herb, KV4FZ. Though
I didn't meet him until later, he and I both worked at the Gates Radio Company
in the 1960's. He was heavy into 160 meters long before LORAN went away,
permitted power levels were low and the band was all chopped up. While Stew
Perry was THE 160 meter pioneer, Herb has to be in the top 10 of guys who helped
make 160 meters popular.
