Comments:
The bottom of the cycle s not much fun. Wasn't going to go assisted but Sunday
started with horrible conditions. So after 2 hours averaging 25 Q/hr I realized
Sunday was not going to be fun. 70km/hr winds with snow/sleet added to the
static on all the bands.
Amazing sporadic E opening on 15m late Saturday afternoon. Pity most people
didn't know about it.If was't for the e's. 15m would have been purely zone 8-13
contacts.
20m to Europe on Sunday was showing a skewed path with weak signals peaking
around 120 degrees azimuth instead of 45 degrees.
Lots of antenna work to do this summer. Need to get the 40m beam back in
operation as well as do something about the local noise on 80m.
